A Day in the Park by my Partner, Sebastiaan

My business partner here in Manhattan, Sebastiaan Obivate, never ceases to amaze me. Sebastiaan is also the designer for the lovely Sebis Fashion label for men and women fashions. I have always admired his designer skills, so of course I would jump at the chance to work with him in any capacity. Sebastiaan is very talented, but never toots his own horn about his designs. Always the gentleman and a joy to have on my side, is how I would describe him.

This weekend Sebastiaan had a fashion show with the JOL Agency in secondlife to showcase his work. I was very surprised, seeing as he never mentioned it until showtime. Just another example of his silent graciousness. I wanted to shout about it from all the roof tops and out of all the windows. I was very proud. The show was a success. The setting was a walk in the part, with a nice park setting for the models to parade around on. I was trying to take a lot of pics but they came and went so fast. Plus, we all know SL and slow rezzing. I was like, ughhhh, but did manage to get a couple.One of Sebastiaan and I  watching the show and one of one of the "Trendy" Models, Sarlah Maggs, in one of the outfits. Sarlah was working it!

Sarlah Maggs is pictured in Sebastiaan's Cynthia outfit. I could explain it, but,will repeat what the runway announcer said about it, which is a better rendition...." Cynthia, is entering the runway, styled by LusciousSarlah. A total runway design, totally Manhattan look. Again another, office, to night out outfit" now isn't he handsome too! I might have a crush, LOL.

There's A New Club in Town! Club Underground

Manhattan City has a new face in city entertainment. His name is Eight Coba and Eight is the owner of the new Club Underground, located in Manhattan City. The club is rightfully named, as it is under the bridge in Manhattan and submerged under the sim. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy but the beats are always fierce.Hip Hop, R&B and Rap rock the sim thru this marvelous Club. Right now event days are every Wednsday & Thursday evening starting at 6pm. Be there to join in on the fun and claim your spot on the dance floor.The atmosphere is very laid back. You can dance til your hearts content or relax at the bar or chill in one of the lounge couches or tables. Don't take my word for it. Come see for yourself. New Luxury Sky Homes in Central Park Area

New Skyhomes are finally here! You are now able to rent a luxuriously private sky home on the new Central Park Area. Central park is soon to come on the ground level. In the sky are luxurious skyhomes, fully furnished with a terrace and front yard on each home.

All homes are equipped with the following:

~Texture changing rugs and artwork (click them to change the appearance)
~Tintable windows ( the long sets of open windows are tintable, simply click on them and you will see them change)
~Teleporters (right click and teleport)
~Furniture with poses (simply sit on a cushion, each has it's own pose)

Virtual Adventures is proud to announce that an agreement has been reached with "Mokalatae Blinker" to administer the Downtown New York sim. The steady development of Manhattan City gives us the confidence that MokaLaTae Blinker and her team will do an excellent job in managing Downtown New York to the high standards we all expect.

VA has long been a leader and ground breaker in SL and RL development and the administrative burden of managing Downtown New York (former Nederpoort) had become an impediment. Now with the excellent ability of MokaLaTae, VA is free to develop and implement other virtual possibilities. Javabox Kawanishi and MariadelCarmen Bekkers (current CEO's) will focus on a healthy development of VA In-world and VA as a real life company.
VA will keep a close eye on the daily development of all sims it has founded. It is to our collective benefit that the high VA quality standards remain intact.

MariadelCarmen Bekkers, CEO, states “It’s a delight for me to be able to say that we reached a satisfactory arrangement for both parties that benefits all of our community members. Going forward, I will have time to focus on future VA projects. My interest remains in virtual community development and the fashion business. My first focus will be further development of Fashion Exposed!!”

Javabox Kawanishi, CEO, observed “This is a new step in our virtual career and logical growth step. After building and rebuilding this entire Virtual City and making it an authentic and livable city experience for the SL community, it’s time to move on. By turning over the city to Moka, Maria and I are going to focus on other VA related business in world and in RL. This will in time will benefit the city projects as well. Hoops Anyone?

In this photo sunday Whitewood is enjoying herself in Manhattan's new Hood area's basketball court. You can come and actually shoot some hoops by yourself or play a one on one game of 21with someone else. It's pretty fun. I'm a horrible shot myself, but I am still practicing. It's all Good in the NEW Manhattan Hood

Manhattan City is and will always continue to be a work in progress with changes to always enhance city life here. Our newest add, is a very Urban Chic shopping area/hang out spot.The area goes by the name "The Hood" because it a place found in every big city in the states and very easy to relate to. The idea is to keep things very much as real as life in the RL. Here you will find a place to relax and hang out with your friends, enjoy the company of some very grown and sexy ladies and even the chance to come and join in yourself. There are quite a few dance poles waiting for dancers. All you have to do is rezz your own personal tip jar by joining the VA group, and youre starting your own business.
