Manhattan City is blossoming just like springtime. New shops, and new faces are everywhere. Sometimes I like to take the opportunity to shine the spotlight on new shops. Tonight I want to share the new AKEYO Shop with you. Owned by joaopedro Oh. AKEYO is filled with nice footwear and hats, plus great dances and AO's for everyone. Demos are available, so if you're like me that makes you a kid in a candy store trying all of the dances. Sunday night my friend Sammy and I did just that. We hopped around , like two kids and had ourselves a ball testing every dance we thought we wanted. Time flew like a light.I'm going to give you a sneak peek of our fun and the shop. St Patty's Day Jammy Jam!

After a couple of days, of having my internet service down. It was very refreshing to come back to Manhattan City today on St. Patrick's Day and even better to host an event at CLub Underground with Fierce and Fearless  DJ Wavy. We had another stellar crowd of over 25 at the club having a ball. Very greenly, I might add. Dj Wavy will be in Manhattan City, every Thursday 6-8pm. If you missed this set. Model Workshop Fashion Show

Model Workshop is a vibrant modelling agency that helps models refine all of their skills to become better models. They are located in Manhattan City  and are also a very active part of our community. Last Saturday Model Workshop had a fashion show displaying designer creations  from within Manhattan City. There was a stellar crowd of well over 50 in attendance to view and experience the show. It was one of many more to come. I have a few snapshots from the show. Manhattan City Gets a New Cab Driver & Make Over in Progress

If you've been to Manhattan City in the last couple of days, you've probably noticed a few new things going on there. The city has a brand new cab driver driving all over the city, picking up people to give them tours and drop them in their desired locations.Masiglah, is our new cabbie with great driving skills. I got a tour this morning and the ride was very enjoyable. Feel free to tip this new cabbie for giving you a nice ride too.We are very proud to have him on our team and hope Masiglah's services will be available to all who enter Manhattan City and surrounding sister sims also.There is also construction or shall I say reconstruction of the city streets, making them wider and more desirable when driving from street to street. The bridge has been redone for a smoother drive also and we have new modern city lights all over the city.Thanks Maria and Java for coming to Manhattan City's aid. We look forward to all new improvements.

My Night Off -- Yes, I do actually have one : )

As we all know, I am diligent, hard working, and energetic every day of the week. But even superwoman needs to chill sometimes. I delegate Friday night as my night off to do things I really like doing. Tonight I went to another Craig Lyons performance. And, yess, I do have a crush on Craig too. Craig's music is so relaxxing and his voice sounds great, very calming. The perfect way to end a hectic week. Tonight Craig performed at an amusement park of sorts,BS's Bring a Friend Amusement park. Very beautiful place. The Ferris wheel is awesome.I sang, danced, and twirled around, enjoying the concert and sights of the park. I took a cute pic of Craig in his cute slippers,LOL, and got a shot of the park. Enjoy them both, I do.

Stuck in The Subway Train! Somebody call 911!

Yesterday I was driving my little golf cart along the streets of Manhattan. After running over this lady and apologizing,(everyone knows my SL driving skills need some help)LOL. I told them to hop on and gave them a tour. I could hear them talking on voice(and bashing my driving skills) then heard they were in Manhattan exploring as it was. I can't afford a lawsuit or jail time for running people over.So I made every effort to make their visit a glorious one. After asking the two friends, AriOnna Afterthought and Diizzy Rae, what brought them to Manhattan. Diizzy told me that she lives there and wanted to see what SL Manhattan had to offer. Of course afterr giving them the tour I asked how we measured up.I took them around and  finally wanted to show them the subway on the East Side of Manhattan. AriOnna was very curious about the subway train and decided to take a closer look. Once inside the train, she started to yell she couldnt get out, LOL. Dizzy and I couldnt stop laughing long enough to get her out. Thank goodness she managed to free herself, as we chuckled away.That was my adventure and laugh for the day. It always thrills me when people visit Manhattan City and really enjoy themselves here. Diizzy made my day by letting me know that my Manhattan was very much like the one she knows and loves.
